Loreto Convent School welcomes applications for all grades, from Grade RRR (age three) to Grade 12. The admissions process is straightforward — and it begins with a conversation.

Submit Your Application
Complete the application form and submit it to the school office along with the required documents. The school will confirm receipt and arrange an assessment or interview where applicable.

Welcome To Loreto
Once your child’s place is confirmed, Loreto will issue a formal offer letter. Pay the registration deposit to secure the place, and the school will send a welcome pack with everything needed to prepare for the first day.

School fees — 2026
Loreto Convent School fees are payable over 11 monthly instalments (January to November). Grade 12 fees are payable over seven months (January to July).

Discounts
- Sibling discount: 5% off school fees for each additional biological sibling enrolled on the same account (Grade R and above)
- Settlement discount: 2.5% if fees are settled in full by 28 February
- Loreto Ambassador Programme: 2.5% discount for existing parents who successfully refer a new family to the school
Mary Ward Scholarship
The Mary Ward Scholarship is Loreto’s flagship academic award, offered to exceptional young women entering high school. The scholarship recognises intelligence, integrity, and independence — the values on which the school was founded.
Scholarship candidates sit a competitive examination. Successful applicants receive a full scholarship for the duration of their high school career at Loreto. Full details, eligibility criteria, and application deadlines are published annually.

Is Loreto Only For Catholic Families?
No. Loreto Convent School is a Catholic school, but it welcomes families of all faiths and backgrounds. The school’s values —integrity, compassion, justice, and service —are universal. All learners participate in the school’s values programme; religious instruction is offered within the Catholic tradition.
Does Loreto Accept Boys?
Yes. Loreto Convent School is a fully co-educational school from Grade RRR to Grade 7 (end of primary school). Boys and girls learn together throughout the pre-school and primary phases. From Grade 8 to Grade 12, the high school is for girls only.
What Are The School Hours?
School hours vary by phase. The campus is supervised from 06:00 to 17:30. Pre-school learners (Grades RRR, RR, and R) are cared for until 17:30, included in the fees. After-care is available for Grades 1 to 12 at an additional cost of R430 per month.
