A co-educational primary school — Grades 1 to 7
The Loreto primary school provides a rigorous, values-based education for boys and girls from Grade 1 to Grade 7. The curriculum follows the CAPS framework, enriched by sport, culture, and the school’s Catholic ethos.
Our Grades
Foundation Phase — Grades 1 to 3
Core skills of reading, writing, and numeracy in small, supportive classes.
Intermediate Phase — Grades 4 to 6
Additional subjects including Natural Sciences and Technology, Social Sciences, Creative Arts, Coding and Robotcis.
Senior Phase — Grade 7
Final year of primary. Girls continuing to Grade 8 transition seamlessly within Loreto.
From primary to high school
Girls move directly into Grade 8 at Loreto’s all-girls high school. For boys completing Grade 7, Loreto provides guidance and support in the transition to their chosen high school.
